The Mountainside Display is designed with the elephant "Thunder" on the peak of the mountain and "Joy" , the calf of "Pride", on the bottom step of the mountain. The remaining ledges are available to display other Mini Herd elephants.

The 1999 minis of the original Hum and Drum pair that were introduced in 1993 and retired in 1996. Hum: "A typical teen: just humming her tune - Too young for this and too old for that." Drum: "He spends his teen days casually thumping a beat. Just counting his days and waiting his turn." Note the quarter for size approximation.

The 1999 minis of the original Snoot and Blue that were introduced in 1992 and retired 1995. Snoot: "She's just tied in knots trying to make sense of this thing called a trunk." Blue: "Blue is an elephant of many moods. She plays SAD so well...we named her for it."
