The base has positions for the original 3121 Winks and each of 3201 Winks Morning, 3202 Winks Noon, 3203 Winks Midday and 3204 Winks Evening. The story of each of the four elephants is written in their respective positions. There is a place for the original 3121 Winks on the rock beside his story stone.

Hoot and Holler will stand on the base and the story stone is cast into the base. The stone says :

1635 Mountainside Display The Mountainside Display is designed with the elephant "Thunder" on the peak of the mountain and "Joy" , the calf of "Pride", on the bottom step of the mountain. The remaining ledges are available to display other Mini Herd elephants.
